In the first demonstration, Scott teaches you how to combine field studies to create a studio painting. In the following two demonstrations, painted in his studio, he shows you how to approach situations you encounter when painting en plein air.

Demonstration #1: "South Park Summer": "It is important to capture a sense of place in a landscape painting. You want the spontaneity of the outdoor study when referencing sketches in the studio (for example, one for clouds and composition, another for color). You try to paint as if you are in the field, keying your painting in quickly with strong shapes and correct values, capturing your critical information first, knowing what can be left until last."

In this human anatomy tutorial series titled Skeletal Structure, Mechanics and Proportion, instructor Charles Hu will break down the human skeletal system in terms of how it relates to drawing a dynamic figure. Starting with basic proportion and structure, Charles breaks down the human skeleton into 9 primary structures: the head, shoulder, rib cage, spine, pelvis, arms, legs, hands and feet. He breaks down the primary landmarks and planes of each structure and identifies features on specific bones important to the mechanics and motion. Charles also discusses the skeletal mechanics of each structure to provide the mechanical understanding of the system in order to achieve more realistic and dynamic figure drawings.

Three Dog Night is an American rock band, best known for their music recorded between 1968 and 1975. They formed in 1968 with a line-up consisting of Danny Hutton, Cory Wells and Chuck Negron. The three lead singers were backed by Jimmy Greenspoon (organ), Joe Schermie (bass), Mike Allsup (guitar) and Floyd Sneed (drums). The band registered 21 Billboard Top 40 hits (with three hitting number one) between 1969 and 1975. It helped introduce mainstream audiences to the work of many songwriters, including Paul Williams, Hoyt Axton, Laura Nyro, Harry Nilsson, Randy Newman, and Leo Sayer. As of 2013, they are still recording and making live appearances.
